Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Overview

This privacy policy explains how WebStone (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the WebStone Android app (the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account and memorial content. When you create a memorial, we store the details you provide: your name, the memorial text, and any photos you add. Memorials are shared with anyone who has the link, as you intend.

Google account. You sign in with your Google account so we can store your memorials in your Google Drive. We receive your name and email address from Google at sign-in.

Usage data. We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or location data. The App does not track you.

How we store your data

Memorial content is stored in your own Google Drive under the WebStone folder, using Google’s secure infrastructure. We do not operate our own servers and do not copy your data to any third party.

Sharing

You choose to share a memorial by sharing its link. Anyone with the link can view that memorial. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Photos and your loved ones

If you add photos of other people to a memorial, you confirm you have the right to share them. For memorials of deceased persons, we will remove content on request from a verified family member.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete a memorial at any time from within the App, which removes it from your Google Drive. To request deletion of a memorial you did not create, contact us at the address below.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
